Motherhood is driving me crazy...
I'm sure any mother reading this post will laugh at me about how silly I'm becoming, but I assure you , I don't feel silly. Bradley has always been the kid who will get out of his room when HE wants. We've done many things to try to combat that idea. I few short months ago he would climb over the gate we put up at his door and go open the front door and take off outside. I had no idea when he did this as it was usually between 7am and 8am. With the little bit of sleep I get, I would sleep right through him leaving. I would usually be awakened by him coming in to give me a flower or hearing him talk on the other side of my window. When we moved to this house I thought, "okay new surroundings, central air so we can close his door, and the bedroom doors lock!" We have lived in this house for about 5 months now and I have discovered in that time that my child is special. It took him less than a week to figure out how to unlock his bedroom door. So we switched the knob so that it locks from the outside. He then used a helicopter propelor to unlock the door and get out. That took about a week. It took us a while to find that helicopter because he has discovered how to use hiding spots. So we finally found it and threw it away. For the last week now he has been using cards from the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Memory Game that we got him for Christmas. I'm at my wits end. The only thing I can think to do is to get a door know with a key. I've also had my eyes on the ones that you have to punch the number into. It would help him learn his numbers quicker probably. I have no clue of how else to fix this problem. I will lose what's left of my mind very soon now.

I'm REALLY SORRY, but this sounds strangely familiar...
I was going to say it, but it's been said. He is his father's child. JUST WAIT til he has a sibling...I helped David escape many a time... :)
